Outcomes:

  • Embrace and take ownership of the process through a better understanding of the Cognitive Coaching methods.
  • Use the Architecture to ground conversations around their work

Activities:

1. "Voice of a Candidate"- to speak about what the process meant to them after completing the process and while awaiting their results. Suggested profiles: 1 elementary educator and 1 secondary- one from a district with several other NBCTs and one where there are few/they are the first in their school; Both participated in the pre-candid as well as the monthly/quarterly support meetings; one a seasoned educator and the other with barely 5 years experience; Both with engaging presenting styles. 2. This is a funny video clip we might be able to play before "The Johari Window" to remind candidates that CSPs are there to support them especially when they feel stuck.
